BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Throughout October, a percentage of your purchase of Aveda’s Limited-Edition BCA Hand Relief Cream supports cruelty-free research through The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, so you can feel even more peaceful knowing you’re supporting a positive cause.
We also donate our space to host a private event for the Young Survivors Coalition + our team donates their time and services to help these young survivors feel and look amazing. The YSC collaborates with many worthwhile organizations that help them help young women facing breast cancer find the support, resources and information they deserve.
THANKSGIVING DINNER FUNDRAISER IN NOVEMBER
NOVEMBER 1 – 21, we’ll be collecting donations at the front desk that will go to buy Thanksgiving Dinner for local individuals and families at the Brother Benno’s Food Bank in Oceanside. If you feel called, we invite you to participate by stopping by the front desk and donating. Please know that even $1 helps put food on the table for a family who needs a bit of support this holiday season.
HOLIDAY BASKET PROGRAM THROUGHOUT NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER
STARTING NOVEMBER 1 – DECEMBER 13TH we partner with The Community Resource Center in Encinitas to collect gently used coats/jackets + new unwrapped toys for their Holiday Basket Program. You can drop off your donation at the front desk anytime during our hours of operation. The CRC supports families in need and victims of domestic violence with safety, stability and a path to self-sufficiency.
