Celeste Parke is a CA State Licensed Acupuncturist. She received her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2008. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her rigorous 3200+ hour training at Pacific College included Japanese Acupuncture techniques, Treatment of Orthopedic Disorders, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, Chinese Herbal Medicine and over 1000 hours of Holistic Massage therapy training.
Celeste has completed externships at various offsite locations in San Diego; Pacific Beach Homeless Clinic, Downtown San Diego Seniors Clinic and the Veterans Stand down. She has also gained valuable experience treating NCAA athletes at UCSD Rimac. Celeste has also completed studies at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center. While in China she had the opportunity to observe and work with doctors and patients in hospitals specializing in neurology, oncology and pediatrics.
Outside of the clinic, Celeste lives in Encinitas is a mother of two busy boys ages 4 and 7. Her challenges and experiences have inspired her to become a DONA International trained Doula, childbirth educator.
Celeste‘s treatment style focuses on the foundations of TCM and Channel diagnosis with and emphasis on gentle, Japanese style techniques, massage, dietary and crystal auricular (ear) seed therapy. Her treatment embraces that Oriental Medicine is holistic in nature and addresses all aspects of the human being. Her treatment specialties include pain management, women’s health, fertility and pregnancy.
