A NOTE FROM TARA ABOUT THE JOURNEY THAT LED HER TO CREATE MY SPIRITUAL RITUAL
Since I can remember I’ve felt there was “something more” to life than what I encountered in day-to-day events, a deeper meaning to the human experience and my purpose in the world beyond what I could see and hear and feel.
When I turned 12, my mom took me to my first spiritual teacher.
Since then, I’ve traveled all over the world studying with mystics, spiritual teachers, and healers, looking for the truth, looking for the answers my heart longed for.
My A-ha! moment came in 2006. I was meditating with 10,000 people on the floor in the Indian ashram of an enlightened master, waiting for him to arrive and give us a spiritual blessing.
Suddenly, from the depths of my inner stillness, a joy-filled laugh rang out within me, and a tender, loving voice within me said, “You thought you needed to come to India to find it?”
And in that instant, every cell of my being knew that the Love and truth I had been seeking outside myself in India, in all my travels, was already within me.
In that moment the seed for My Spiritual Ritual was planted and became a reality in 2018.
