the Season of Gratitude
During the Season of Gratitude we like to put an extra emphasis on giving back. Please join us in giving back to our wonderful Community! We have partnered with the Brother Benno’s Foundation as well as the Community Outreach Center in collaboration with you, our community to help give holiday joy to families in need.
Brother Benno’s Foundation
October 15 – November 12
Brother Benno’s is a Non-profit organization committed to serving the poor and homeless in San Diego North County since 1983. The goals of the Brother Benno’s Foundation have been to see that no one in our area goes hungry, without shelter or clothing, and most importantly, without someone to care for him or her as well as striving to help their guests attain self-sufficiency.
Lemongrass will be collecting donations at the front desk that will go towards the Brother Benno’s Foundation to buy Thanksgiving Dinner for local individuals and families at the Brother Benno’s Food Bank in Oceanside. If you feel called, we invite you to participate by stopping by the front desk and donating. Please know that even $1 helps put food on the table for a family who needs a bit of support this holiday season.
Community Resource Center’s Holiday Basket Program
November 1 – December 13
Community Resource Center (CRC) is a nonprofit organization serving residents throughout San Diego North County. Their Holiday Basket program helps alleviate the financial stress of the holidays and makes a hard time of year brighter, especially for children. Holiday Basket helps families connect to CRC supportive services, including food, case management, counseling, and shelter from domestic violence.R
Lemongrass will be collecting coats, blankets, and unopened toys to donate to the CRC Holiday Basket Program. If you feel drawn to donate, your gift can help provide items and gifts for over 6,000 people in need, including 3,500 children and 300 seniors. We really appreciate your help and support for our wonderful community!
